Cookie
policy
This page lists every cookie kitsuneai.co puts on your device. It is short because the list is short.
The summary
We set the cookies Cloudflare needs to keep the site online, to block automated abuse, and to check that a form submission came from a person. That is the whole list. We run no analytics cookies, no advertising or remarketing pixels, and no cross-site trackers, and we do not sell or share browsing behaviour with anyone.
Because every cookie here is strictly necessary to deliver a service you asked for, UK and EU law requires us to tell you about them rather than ask permission for them. That is why you get a short notice on your first visit instead of a consent wall. If we ever add anything optional, the notice becomes a real choice with granular toggles, and nothing non-essential will run until you opt in.
What gets set
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
cf_clearance |
Cloudflare | Records that your browser passed a security check, so you are not challenged repeatedly. | Up to 1 year |
__cf_bm |
Cloudflare | Bot management. Distinguishes people from automated traffic. | 30 minutes |
cf_chl_* |
Cloudflare Turnstile | Only on pages with a form. Runs the human check that protects our enquiry forms from spam. | Session |
kitsune.cookie.v1 |
Kitsune AI | Not a cookie. A single entry in your browser's local storage that remembers you have seen the notice, so we do not show it again. | 1 year |
Measurement without cookies
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see which pages get read. It is cookieless: it stores nothing on your device, sets no identifier, and does not follow you to other sites. It reports aggregate page views and referrers, and nothing that identifies you.
Content loaded from other services
Two pages pull in content from elsewhere. Our blog renders an Instagram feed through Behold, and pages with an enquiry form load Cloudflare Turnstile. Both receive your IP address as a technical necessity of serving the request, in the same way any web request works. Neither is used to build an advertising profile of you.
Controlling cookies
Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies from its privacy settings. Blocking the Cloudflare cookies listed above will mean repeated security challenges and, on pages with a form, an enquiry you cannot submit. Nothing else on the site depends on them.
You can also clear the local storage entry we use to remember the notice, which will simply bring the notice back on your next visit.
Changes
If we add a cookie, this page changes before the cookie ships, and the date at the top moves. If what we add is optional, you will be asked rather than told.
